In May 2011 HTC released a new phone- the HTC Sensation which is being touted as a multimedia wonder. It is as of now only being shipped in Europe and is available only with Vodafone connection but soon it will spread to US markets and will cover more networks. The HTC Sensation was initially going to be named HTC Pyramid but the makers felt the name Sensation described this super phone more accurately. Powered by Android it is quick with a Quality HD display weighing 148 grams. This mobile phone has a 4.3 inch touch screen with a multi-touch input method which is bright enough and has an innovative lock screen. The colors are vibrant and viewing becomes faster and sound quality is top-notch with Hi-Fi technology. One can record videos with a full HD camcorder and can even upload them on social network sites like Facebook and Twitter with ease and can even stream these videos to the TV through DLNA. The internal phone storage is 1GB with a RAM of 768 MB.

HTC Sensation has a 8 megapixel color camera with a dual LED flash and has features like geo-tagging and image stabilization. It has a stereo FM radio and a HTML browser and is available only in black. It has a high powered battery of 1520 mash capacity which is rechargeable.
